What Do You Get When You Hire a Freelance Copywriter?
Well, with me, you get Smarties to pop on top of your copywriting cake

The copywriting process can be pretty, pretty lengthy. From initial enquiry to invoice settlement, there are several stages, each as important as the last, to make sure your copywriter is doing the best job they can for your business - have a look at what the alliance of commercial copywriters, ProCopywriters, advises is the best route to great copy, from chat to cha-ching.
Now, sure, I’m a copywriter, but I’m not a one-trick pony. If you need some help with the stuff that happens before and after the copy is baked, I might be able to help.
So, because I like to share the goodies, here are some Smarties that I like to pop on top of the copywriting cake…
Posting to social media
I can post your copy onto any of your platforms and then check how it went to help us next time.
Disclaimer: I’m not a social media manager, but if you need the copy posted, that’s great with me.
Blog posting
I’m up for adding blog posts and news to your CMS, web builder or blog – with all the right metadata and shizzle, plus a stock photo (which might cost you more, depending on what’s needed).
Note: it’s always best to have a proper web person looking after your site regularly.
Checking out the competition
I can see what the general landscape looks like, through research and general nosiness; it’s one of my fave bits of being a copywriter.
Talking strategy
For we are not in a bubble and must plan at least a few weeks ahead; just make sure you or your designated person is always at the heart of the plan.
Dealing with your incoming comms
I’m currently checking the inbox for one client, and it’s giving me lots of insight into common niggles, therefore feeding a decent outgoing comms strategy. Yum.
Joining your team calls
Coz context is everything, innit? If I’m there to earwig, I might be able to spot a vital message you're not sending out, or form a communication plan from your weekly Wednesday whines.
Note: many of these items can be included in my usual copy quote; others might need a little extra cost added on. Tell me what you’re after, and we can bag up a quote that you can afford.
How d’you like them Smarties?
I’ll be honest, all of these goodies (and more) have come up depending on each client’s unique situation.
And if I can help, I will – I’ll soon let you know if I can’t.
The golden rule? We just need to have a decent conversation, clearly agree on a few things, and we’re away, tipping the tubes of the delicious, crispy sweeties right into our mouths.
Thanks, sweetie
So, if you need very charming copywriting AND could do with a hand dealing with some of the jobs around it, I can probs help you with that.
Just lemme know, yeah?
In mental healthiness, honest helpfulness, and classic sweetie appreciation,
Kate
